My first exploration of the area I tried to use as many ways of collection and research as possible to keep my options open for now and find for myself the most valuable/interesting technique.
This consisted of:
Collection of objects and flora, images, sketches based on observation, Derive notes, sounds in visuals, clay presses to collect texture, images of the process

I started by collecting "trash" or discarded items from the area, some were collected in the construction area such as the tile and stick like thing, other items were found in random spots around the route that is displayed above.

I brought an old jam jar with me on the walk and I didn't have an initial purpose for it, but then I found it useful as a vessel to collect flora.
I ended up scanning this in to document my collection.
